For the uninitiated, the iPhone maker introduces Apple Music Replay to its subscribers at the end of each year, similar to Spotify Unwrapped. This feature provides music listening statistics, including your favorite artists, Most Played Songs, and more. Basically, it serves as a summary of your year-long musical experience.
It also shows goals like whether you’ve listened to 1,000 or more songs. But it’s important to note that unlike Spotify Wrapped, Apple’s version is more muted and less bouncy, but still serves its purpose. In addition, it provides you with a web-based experience.
It’s worth noting that Apple Music Replay 2023 was released before Spotify Unwrapped this year, and this was likely done to get more eyeballs before Spotify stories flood social media feeds. Sharing a summary with your friends and followers is a popular practice online.
If you’re an Apple Music subscriber and want to see Apple Music Replay 2023, follow these steps:
- Go to replay.music.apple.com and sign in with the Apple ID associated with your Apple Music service.
- After logging in, you can see all the statistics and summaries of listening to music throughout the year.
- On the landing page, Apple says, “This is your play” and a “Jump In” button. Tap the button to continue.
Please note that replay requires an active Apple Music subscription. Even if your subscription recently ended but covered most of the year, you still need it to watch Apple Music Replay.
